The Trianglelab CHC XL WR retains the CHC XL's 24 V / 128 W MCH heater, integrated PT1000 and high-flow architecture while adding a ceramic-coated wear-resistant transition zone. Trianglelab states up to five times longer life in this area with abrasive filament.
The WR feature protects the hotend transition; it does not make the supplied nozzle wear resistant. Use a compatible hardened nozzle for carbon fibre, glass fibre, mineral-filled or otherwise abrasive materials.

WR features
- Improved transition-zone resistance to filled filament.
- 24 V / 128 W MCH heater and integrated PT1000.
- Approximately 48 g monolithic assembly.
- V6-style nozzles and optional MZE compatibility.
- Hotend, installed nozzle and silicone sock included.
Compatibility and installation
Verify mount, length, clearance, cooling, wiring, 24 V supply and heater-output capacity. In Marlin select the PT1000 table matching the pull-up: 1047 for 4.7 kΩ, 1010 for 1 kΩ or 1022 for 2.2 kΩ. In Klipper use sensor_type: PT1000 and declare the real pull-up when it is not 4700 Ω.
Confirm a plausible room-temperature reading before heating. Perform PID calibration, recheck Z offset and hot-tighten the nozzle correctly. Maximum usable temperature depends on the complete sensor, block, nozzle, sock, wiring and material configuration.
It is for you if
- You regularly print fibre-filled or abrasive materials.
- You need high flow and have suitable 24 V electronics.
- You want to protect the transition zone as well as using a wear-resistant nozzle.
It is not for you if
- You only use non-abrasive materials and do not need the WR upgrade.
- Your machine does not support 24 V / 128 W or PT1000.
- You do not have a suitable mount and cold-end cooling.
