BIQU H2 V2S Dual-Gear Direct Extruder for 1.75 mm Filament
The BIQU H2 V2S is a compact direct extruder with integrated hotend for 1.75 mm filament. It combines dual drive gears, a 7:1 reduction and a bi-metal heatbreak in a toolhead designed to convert a compatible machine to direct extrusion with a short path between the drive gears and melt zone.
It is a worthwhile upgrade when more direct filament control is needed, especially with TPU and other flexible materials. It is not a universal replacement: installation requires an H2 V2S-specific mount, compatible part-cooling duct, 24 V heater supply and mechanical and firmware adaptation for the printer.

Declared specifications
| System | Dual-gear direct extrusion |
|---|---|
| Filament | 1.75 mm (declared tolerance ±0.05 mm) |
| Gear ratio | 7:1 |
| Declared weight | 195 g, including heater cartridge, thermistor and fan |
| Heatbreak | Bi-metal |
| Declared maximum printing temperature | 270 °C |
| Heater cartridge | 24 V, 40 W |
| Specified sensor | NTC 100K |
| Recommended motor current | 800 mA |
The manufacturer’s force and flow figures depend on filament, nozzle, temperature, pressure advance, tensioner adjustment and the rest of the machine. Treat them as design references, not guaranteed performance on every printer.
Mounting and compatibility
BIGTREETECH provides mounting files or solutions for machines including BIQU B1/BX, Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2, Ender-5, Ender-6, CR-6 and several CR-10 models. Every installation still requires the matching bracket and checks for clearance, nozzle position, fans, probe, cable length and axis travel.
The availability of a mount for a printer family does not itself confirm compatibility with every revision. Do not install this assembly merely because a carriage pattern or machine name appears similar: always compare the bracket, heater voltage and firmware of the exact configuration.
The H2 V2S integrates its own motor and transmission. The manufacturer states that it is not compatible with a standard NEMA 14 motor. Thermal and mechanical replacement parts must not be assumed interchangeable with H2 V2S Lite, H2 V2S Revo, V6 or other hotend families.
Initial setup and calibration
After completing mechanical installation and checking all wiring, the manufacturer publishes the following initial values for this exact extruder:
| Firmware | Starting point | Required follow-up |
|---|---|---|
| Marlin | M92 E932 at 16 microsteps | Calibrate extrusion and save only when EEPROM is correctly configured. |
| Klipper | rotation_distance: 3.433 in [extruder] | Measure real extrusion and adjust the value gradually. |
These values do not replace calibration. Before printing, confirm motor direction, test a short low-temperature extrusion and verify that filament enters without slipping. After replacing the hotend or changing the cartridge, thermistor, nozzle or fan, perform the thermal verification and PID tuning required by the firmware.
The sensor is identified as NTC 100K, but that designation alone does not specify a curve, beta value or Marlin table. Do not select a thermistor table or Klipper sensor_type by approximation: use the data for the installed part or retain a configuration already verified for the original sensor.
It is for you if
- You want to convert a compatible printer to direct extrusion using the correct H2 V2S bracket.
- You need a short filament path to work more effectively with TPU and other flexible materials.
- You will verify the mount, cooling, 24 V supply and firmware before operating the printer.
It is not for you if
- You need a direct-fit replacement for any Ender, CR, B1 or BX without a bracket or setup changes.
- Your system is 12 V or you cannot verify heater voltage and wiring.
- You require parts compatible with H2 V2S Revo, H2 V2S Lite or a V6 hotend without confirming every interface first.
