WINKLE PLA HD Transition Filament 1.75 mm

WINKLE PLA HD filament manufactured in Spain, with a gradual colour transition along the spool. It is a straightforward choice for decorative parts, models, visual prototypes, figures and projects that benefit from changing tones without manually changing filament.

The spool contains 1 kg of 1.75 mm filament. The exact colours and the starting point of each transition vary: the spool is supplied randomly and a specific colour sequence cannot be selected. The image illustrates the effect, but each spool may have a different sequence.

Suggested printing parameters

• Nozzle temperature: 190-230 °C.
• Bed temperature: 50-70 °C.
• Nominal diameter: 1.75 mm.
• Starting nozzle: 0.4 mm.
• Chamber: open; a closed chamber is not required for PLA.

Start around the middle of the range and tune according to your hotend, speed, cooling, print surface and desired finish. The first layer, Z offset and bed adhesion must be calibrated correctly; no filament replaces those adjustments.

Storage

It is supplied vacuum packed with desiccant. Keep the spool sealed when not in use and store it in a dry place. If it has remained open or absorbed moisture, suitable drying may help reduce popping, stringing and irregular extrusion; temperature and time should be adapted to the drying equipment and the manufacturer's guidance.
