Available Options
SAKATA 3D PLA 850 MAGIC and MAGIC+ 1.75 mm Filament
SAKATA 3D PLA 850 filament made from NatureWorks Ingeo 3D850 resin, with decorative particles that add sparkle and a metallic effect. MAGIC+ contains more glitter than the MAGIC range, producing a stronger visual effect.
Depending on the available options, the family may include shades such as Magic Silver, Magic Coal, Magic Purple, Magic Navy Blue, Magic Star Gold and MAGIC+ blue or red variants. The final appearance depends on lighting, part orientation, layer height and how many particles are visible on each surface.
Printing parameters
- Diameter: 1.75 mm.
- Nozzle temperature: 200-220 °C.
- Bed temperature: optional 40 °C, depending on the setup.
- Recommended nozzle: 0.6 mm or larger.
- Chamber: open.
The 0.6 mm or larger nozzle recommendation provides more margin when printing filament containing decorative particles. Start around the middle of the range and tune temperature, flow, retraction, cooling and first layer on your printer.
Adhesion and shrinkage depend on the surface, part size and air currents. The result of every geometry should not be assumed to be guaranteed simply because PLA 850 is used.
Presentation and storage
The usual presentation is a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm filament, vacuum packed with desiccant. Store it protected from moisture and direct light. If the filament has absorbed moisture, suitable drying may help improve extrusion.
It is for you if
You want SAKATA 3D PLA based on Ingeo 3D850 with a sparkling or metallic decorative finish for figures, models, decoration and visual prototypes.
It is not for you if
It is not the best choice if you need a completely smooth and uniform surface, a very small nozzle or certified thermal and mechanical properties for a specific technical application.
