Printed parts set for building or repairing an original Wilson 3D printer. This set is intended for that specific RepRap design and is printed to order after payment is confirmed, using the available revision of the original project as its reference.
Wilson is a veteran design and several community modifications exist. Before ordering, compare your frame, rods, bearings, extruder and mounting points with the original Wilson repository. This set must not be confused with Wilson II parts.
Printed components
- Extruder according to the selected option: MK7 direct drive or geared extruder for a hobbed bolt.
- Fan duct.
- X-axis ends, carriage and tensioner.
- Z-axis endstop holder.
- 2 belt guides for 624ZZ bearings.
- 4 Y-axis LM8UU linear-bearing holders.
- Y-axis belt holder, motor holder and idler.
- 4 frame brackets.
- 2 reinforced Z-motor holders.
- 2 Z-rod holders.
- 2 frame braces.
The photographs show the two historical configurations and are illustrative: extruder-related parts change with the selected variant.
Colour and made-to-order production
A preferred colour may be specified with the order. Availability depends on the filament held when the parts are produced; if no preference is provided, an available colour will be used.
As this item is made to order, its lead time may be longer than that of a stocked product. Please contact us before ordering if you need to confirm colour, extruder variant or compatibility with a modified Wilson.
Compatibility and alternatives
This set is intended for the original Wilson. Direct fit is not guaranteed on a Prusa i3, P3Steel, Wilson II or a fork that changes rod diameters, distances, extruder, carriage or frame.

- You are building or restoring an original Wilson compatible with the referenced repository.
- You need the printed parts and already have, or will separately select, the mechanical and electronic components.
- You can confirm the required extruder variant before ordering.
This is not for you if
- You are building a Wilson II or another printer with different geometry.
- You need a complete kit including frame, rods, bearings, motors, belts, fasteners and electronics.
- Your machine is modified and its dimensions cannot be checked against the original design.
