Ramps 1.5 - Repap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield

-49% Ramps 1.5 - Repap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield

RepRap Pololu Arduino Mega Shield or RAMPS. It is designed to connect all the electronic components required for a RepRap.

The modular design includes connectors for the stepper mortos and controll electronics on a shield Arduino MEGA for easy maintenance.

Ramps 1.5 is optimized based on Ramp 1.4. The main difference is that the MOSFETs of the Ramps 1.5 are in contact with the base of the board, so that it dissipates the heat with the help of it without the need for an additional dissipator. This also implies a more stable connection.

RAMPS 1.4 Connections

There are many boards available on the market to control our 3D printer and, without a doubt, the combination Arduino Mega 2560 R3 + RAMPS 1.4 has become the most used. We are going to see the connection of each component of our 3D printer. But we will start differencing the functions of the Arduino Mega and the RAMPS 1.4 boards:  The Arduino Mega ...
