Description

The 12864 LCD Full Graphic Smart Controller allows a 3D printer to be operated directly from the machine without requiring a permanent computer connection. It features a 128 × 64 graphic LCD display, an integrated SD card reader and a rotary encoder for menu navigation.

Compared to character LCD modules, the graphic display provides a richer user interface with detailed printer status information, temperatures, print progress and firmware-supported configuration options.

Function within the system

This module serves as the printer's local user interface, allowing print jobs to be started from an SD card, axes to be controlled, temperatures adjusted and firmware functions accessed. It connects to compatible controller boards using the included Smart Controller adapter.
