Trianglelab RAPIDO ACE hotend in the UHF ultra-high-flow configuration with a 104NT-4 temperature sensor. It combines an extended melting zone with a compact design, replaceable ceramic heater and several mounting options for fast 3D printers.
This product is specifically the UHF version with a 104NT-4 sensor. It should not be confused with the RAPIDO ACE PT1000 or K500 variants, as they require different electronics and firmware configurations.
Main features
- UHF ultra-high-flow configuration.
- Integrated 104NT-4 temperature sensor.
- Nominal 24 V electrical system.
- Manufacturer-rated power: 88.6 W.
- Nominal heater resistance: 6.5 ±0.5 Ω at 25 °C.
- Replaceable ceramic heating element.
- Extended melting zone in a compact assembly.
- Multiple upper mounting holes for different mounting orientations.
- Suitable for direct-drive or Bowden extrusion systems.
Thermal design
The RAPIDO ACE uses an internal sensor positioned to provide a stable measurement of the heater assembly. Its split stainless-steel flange helps reduce heat transfer into the structure and protects the internal filament path during assembly.
The heatsink uses a two-stage insulated design and a tapered contact area with the heatbreak. This is intended to limit heat conduction into the cold section and reduce the risk of premature filament softening.
Volumetric flow
Trianglelab states a maximum practical flow of up to 65 mm³/s in a test using PETG at 265 °C with a 1.2 mm nozzle. This figure describes specific test conditions and should not be treated as a guaranteed result with every material, nozzle or printer.
Actual flow depends on temperature, nozzle diameter and material, filament, extruder force, heater performance and cooling. It should be determined progressively for each machine.
Mounting compatibility
It can be fitted to mounting positions designed for the original Dragon or original RAPIDO by using a 3 mm spacer. Trianglelab also offers dedicated RAPIDO ACE mounts and an adapter for V6-style mounting positions.
Required adapters or spacers should not be considered included unless they are expressly listed in the supplied package contents.
3D printer compatibility
- VORON 2.4 and VORON Trident: conditionally compatible through a dedicated RAPIDO ACE mount or a Dragon/RAPIDO mount with the correct spacer.
- VORON 0: requires careful checking of the mount, available height and cooling-duct position.
- Creality Ender 3 and CR-10: require a hotend conversion, compatible mount, adapted wiring and firmware configuration.
- Prusa MK3 and derivatives: potentially compatible through a V6 adapter and a toolhead designed for the assembly length and geometry.
Compatibility depends on the installed toolhead rather than the printer model alone. Check the nozzle position, bed-level sensor, cooling system, supply voltage and heater-output capacity.
104NT-4 sensor and firmware
The 104NT-4 is an NTC thermistor and must not be configured as a PT100, PT1000 or unrelated generic thermistor without checking its response curve. In Klipper it commonly corresponds to the ATC Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G profile, although the documentation for the installed firmware version should always be checked.
An incorrect configuration can produce inaccurate temperature readings and compromise the printer's thermal protection.

- Phaetus RAPIDO 2 HF, a more compact high-flow alternative.
- Phaetus RAPIDO 2 UHF, a UHF alternative from the Phaetus range.
Internal RAPIDO ACE components should not be assumed to be interchangeable with RAPIDO V1, RAPIDO 2 or RAPIDO 2F parts. Trianglelab expressly states that RAPIDO ACE-specific replacement parts are not suitable for the RAPIDO V1.
Installation and commissioning
Before connecting the hotend, make sure the printer operates at 24 V and that the controller board, MOSFET, power supply, connectors and wiring can safely control the heater load.
After installation, configure the 104NT-4 sensor correctly, run PID tuning and verify thermal-runaway protection. The Z offset, retraction, pressure advance and maximum volumetric flow should also be calibrated before high-speed printing.
