Available Options
WINKLE Krystal 1.75 mm PETG combines PETG toughness and layer bonding with translucent colours intended for parts where light and appearance are part of the design. Made in Spain, it is especially useful for diffusers, lamp shades, illuminated housings, signs, decorative vessels and visible prototypes.

Colours and formats
- Colours: Aquamarine Blue, Dark Mauve, Lime Green and Amber Orange.
- Weights: 300 g and 1 kg, depending on the selected option.
- Diameter: 1.75 mm.
- Manufacture: Spain.
The finish is translucent, not optically clear. Light transmission and diffusion vary with colour, thickness, wall count, layer height, flow, temperature and line orientation. Reducing internal gaps, maintaining consistent flow and testing continuous walls can improve the visual result.
Suggested starting profile
| Setting | Reference |
|---|---|
| Nozzle | 220-240°C |
| Bed | 60-80°C |
| Speed | 50-70 mm/s |
| Recommended nozzle | 0.4 mm |
| Nominal density | 1.23 g/cm³ |
| Enclosure | Not required |
Print a temperature tower and a small sample at the same thickness as the final project. Settings that maximise clarity may not provide the best detail, tolerance or layer strength.
Compatibility
Suitable for 1.75 mm FDM/FFF printers with a heated bed, including HTA3D HPRO, Creality Ender 3, Prusa MK3/MK4, Bambu Lab A1/P1/X1 and Voron, provided their hotend, surface and profile support PETG. WINKLE lists AMS Lite for this reference; check the exact feeder's spool dimensions and adapters.
Tips for illuminated parts
- Print a sample first: two colours at the same thickness may filter light differently.
- Thin walls transmit more light; thick walls or infill behave more like a diffuser.
- Avoid hot spots and respect both the part and light source operating temperatures.
- For lamps, use suitable electrical parts and ventilation; this filament has no flame classification.
- Store sealed with desiccant to avoid bubbles and loss of finish.
If translucency is not a priority, standard WINKLE PETG offers more general-purpose colours. For a transparent variant focused on visual validation, see WINKLE PETG Prototype.
This is for you if
- You want translucent parts, diffusers or 3D-printed lamp shades.
- You want four crystal-effect colours in 300 g or 1 kg.
- Your machine can print 1.75 mm PETG with a heated bed.
This is not for you if
- You need lens-grade clarity or undistorted internal visibility.
- You need an opaque colour or exact optical matching without a printed sample.
- You require a flame-classified material for a luminaire or installation.
