A Brass nozzle with a 0.4mm outlet, nominal M6 thread and 16.8mm overall length. Its geometry matches the long nozzle originally used on the Creality Ender-5 S1, Ender-7 and Ender-3 V3 SE.

The 0.4mm diameter provides a practical balance of detail, flow and ease of tuning for general printing with 1.75mm filament.

Confirmed compatibility

  • Creality Ender-5 S1 with its original hotend.
  • Creality Ender-7 with its original hotend.
  • Creality Ender-3 V3 SE with its original hotend.
  • Other hotends specifically designed for a 16.8mm M6 nozzle with the same seat and heat-break contact.
An M6 thread alone does not establish compatibility. If the printer has been fitted with a different hotend, compare the removed nozzle and verify its overall length, seat, thread and contact with the heat break before installation.

This is not a conventional MK8 nozzle: our 0.4mm MK8 Brass nozzle has a 13mm overall length. Choose that alternative only when the hotend specifically requires MK8 geometry.

Recommended materials

Brass transfers heat efficiently and is a suitable choice for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU and other conventional non-abrasive filaments, provided that the temperatures remain within the limits of the hotend and printer.

Filaments filled with carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal, minerals or other abrasive particles wear a Brass nozzle more quickly. For regular use, choose a wear-resistant nozzle that retains the exact geometry required by the hotend.

About high-speed printing

Creality uses the term “high-speed” for this nozzle family because of its application in these hotends. The nozzle alone does not determine printing speed: achievable flow also depends on the heater block and melt zone, heater power, material, temperature, layer height and extrusion tuning.

Replacement and commissioning

  1. Unload the filament and follow the replacement procedure for your printer model.
  2. Remove the silicone sock and heat the hotend to the temperature specified by the manufacturer to loosen the old nozzle.
  3. Hold the heater block with a suitable tool so that force is not transferred to the heat break, thermistor or heater cartridge.
  4. Install the new nozzle, ensuring that it seals correctly against the heat break. Do not use contact with the block as the only stop.
  5. After installation, check for material leakage and review the Z offset, nozzle height and first layer.

Caution: replacement may require working with a hot hotend. Do not touch the nozzle or block, and protect wiring from twisting, pulling and tools.

This nozzle is for you if

  • You need a 0.4mm nozzle for an Ender-5 S1, Ender-7 or Ender-3 V3 SE with its original hotend.
  • You want a Brass nozzle for conventional filaments.
  • You have verified that your hotend requires a 16.8mm M6 nozzle.

This nozzle is not for you if

  • Your hotend uses a 13mm MK8, Volcano, V6, K1, Revo or integrated nozzle.
  • You have modified the toolhead without checking the geometry of the installed nozzle.
  • You regularly print abrasive filaments and require greater wear resistance.
