Compact double-ended open spanner with 6 and 7 mm jaws, intended for fitting or removing 3D printer nozzles whose hexagon exactly matches either size. It is made from chrome vanadium steel with a chrome-plated finish and measures approximately 110 mm long.
The 6 or 7 mm measurement is the width across the hexagon flats, not the nozzle outlet diameter. A 0.4 mm nozzle may require a different tool depending on its manufacturer, format and revision.

Compatibility
It can be used with nozzles measuring 6 or 7 mm across the flats when sufficient access is available around the hotend. Compatibility does not follow solely from a V6, MK8 or Volcano label: hexagon sizes and replacement procedures can differ within the same family.
Measure the nozzle with calipers or consult its drawing before use. The jaw should engage fully without noticeable play or tilting. Do not force it onto a different size, as this may round the hexagon.
This product is for you if
- Your nozzles have a 6 or 7 mm hexagon.
- You need a compact tool that correctly engages the nozzle flats during maintenance.
This product is not for you if
- The nozzle requires another size, a socket or a proprietary tool.
- You also need to hold an 18 or 21 mm heater block; in that case choose the multi-size nozzle and heater-block spanner.
Safe nozzle replacement
- Follow the procedure, temperature and torque specified for the exact hotend and nozzle.
- Unload filament, raise the toolhead and protect the build plate with a non-flammable surface.
- If the design requires hot replacement, take particular care: the nozzle and block can cause severe burns.
- Hold the heater block with another correctly sized tool. Do not use the heatbreak, heater cartridge, thermistor or their wires as leverage.
- Fully engage the 6 or 7 mm jaw and turn without tilting the spanner.
- Place the removed nozzle on a non-flammable surface and do not touch it until cool.
- Fit and tighten the replacement nozzle according to its manufacturer's procedure without excessive force.
- Check the seal, possible leaks and Z offset or first layer before printing again.
One double-ended spanner is supplied. Nozzle, hotend and heater-block holding tool are not included.
