0.4 mm V6 Plated Copper Nozzle for 1.75 mm Filament

Plated copper nozzle for hotends using a V6 interface and 1.75 mm filament. The copper-alloy body provides high thermal conductivity, while the nickel-based coating helps reduce plastic sticking to the outer surface.

Its nominal outlet diameter is 0.4 mm. Before installation, check that your hotend uses a V6 nozzle with the correct thread and contact length; sharing the filament diameter does not guarantee compatibility with every hotend.

When to choose it

It is suitable for setups working at elevated temperatures and for conventional filaments such as PLA or ABS. The manufacturer recommends a nozzle from 0.6 mm for its particle-filled decorative filaments; this 0.4 mm version is intended for filaments without particles that require this outlet diameter.

The copper alloy transfers heat more readily than brass, while the coating may help keep the surface cleaner. This does not make the nozzle abrasion-resistant or guarantee a specific printing temperature.

Installation and precautions

  • Install the nozzle with the hotend cold and perform the final tightening according to the hotend manufacturer's procedure.
  • After changing it, check nozzle height, first layer and flow.
  • For very high temperatures, verify that the sensor, heater cartridge, wiring and firmware are suitable for the intended temperature.
  • Do not use the material softening point as the maximum temperature of the complete assembly.
