External T-shaped plate for joining and reinforcing 20 series aluminium profiles. Its five-hole pattern allows it to be secured to the profile slots to create flat T joints for frames, supports and modular structures.
It is manufactured from aluminium alloy and measures 60 × 60 mm. The 5.2 mm clearance holes are suitable for M5 fasteners and have a centre-to-centre spacing of 20 mm.

Compatibility
Compatible with the 20 series profiles and accessories available from HTA3D, including the 2020 structural aluminium profile and the 2040 structural aluminium profile.
The 5.2 mm holes provide clearance for M5 bolts. Depending on the assembly, the plate can be secured using the M5 hammer nut for 20 series profiles or the M5 sliding T-slot nut for 20 series profiles.
It may fit profiles from other manufacturers when the slot positions match the plate's 20 mm hole pattern. A 2020 or 2040 designation alone does not guarantee that every extrusion system has the same internal geometry.
Joint type
This product is a flat reinforcement plate. The profiles must provide coplanar faces on which the plate can rest. It does not replace an angle bracket intended to connect profiles located on different planes.
The T shape is particularly useful for connecting a perpendicular profile to one or two aligned profiles, distributing the fastening across several slots and reducing movement at the joint.
Installation
Place the plate over the profile faces and align the holes with the slots. Insert the M5 bolts and corresponding nuts without fully tightening them, check the position and alignment of the structure and then tighten the fasteners progressively.
The required bolt length will depend on the plate thickness, any washers used and the available thread engagement in the nuts. The final load capacity will also depend on the number of fixing points used and the overall structure design.
