M5 Hammer T-Nut for 20 Series Aluminium Profile, 6 mm Slot

M5 hammer T-nut for fastening brackets, mounts and other accessories to 20 series aluminium profiles with a 6 mm slot. It can be inserted directly through the open slot, allowing components to be added to an assembled frame without accessing the ends of the profile.

Once inside the slot, the nut is turned approximately 90° to position its body across the channel and create the fastening point.

Compatibility

Compatible with HTA3D 20 series aluminium profiles, including the 2020 profile and 2040 profile, as well as HTA3D accessories from the same profile family.

Compatibility with profiles from other suppliers should be verified by checking the nominal 6 mm slot width and the internal channel geometry.

Installation

• Insert the nut through the open slot.
• Turn it approximately 90° until it sits across the channel.
• Position the accessory and tighten the M5 screw.
• Check that the nut has rotated and seated correctly before final tightening.

The M5 screw length must suit the thickness of the accessory. An excessively long screw may bottom out before the component is properly secured.

Alternative mounting option

If the nut can be inserted from the end of the profile, the M5 sliding T-nut for 20 series profiles can be used instead.
