- Stock: 4
- Model: Boli3D-1.75mm
WINKLE 3D Pen for 1.75 mm filament, with LCD screen, speed control and separate buttons for loading and unloading material. It lets you draw on a surface or in the air, creating figures, letters, decorations and small pieces by hand.
It is a creative tool for getting started with 3D making without a computer or slicer. The box states a recommended age of +14. The nozzle and extruded material become hot during use, so handle the pen carefully and disconnect it when the activity is finished.
Main features
- Brand: WINKLE.
- Compatible filament: nominal diameter 1.75 mm.
- LCD/LED screen to check and adjust operation.
- Speed and flow control to adapt the thickness of the line.
- Separate filament load and unload buttons.
- Power through a USB interface.
- Output nozzle for drawing with molten plastic.
- Age shown on the packaging: +14.
Which filament does it use?
It uses 1.75 mm filament. The product feature image shows PLA and ABS modes, while WINKLE presents the pen mainly for use with PLA. For getting started, we recommend 1.75 mm PLA because it is generally easier to handle and suitable for crafts and figures.
Use ABS only if the pen allows the correct mode to be selected and adequate ventilation is available. Do not mix materials inside the feed path: use the unload function before changing from PLA to ABS or the other way around and follow the device instructions.
As internal filament references, you can see the WINKLE PLA 850 1.75 mm and WINKLE PLA 870 1.75 mm. Always check that the selected colour, format and formulation are suitable for a 3D pen.
How it works
- Connect the USB power supply and place straight filament into the upper inlet.
- Select the corresponding material or mode when requested by the device.
- Use the load button and wait for the material to reach the nozzle.
- Start at a low speed and adjust the flow according to the thickness of the line.
- When finishing or changing material, use the unload button and remove the filament in the indicated direction.
If the filament enters with difficulty, is bent at the tip or causes jams, cut it cleanly and try again. Do not force it or use flattened filament with an irregular diameter.
Ideas for use
- Simple figures and decorations.
- Personalised letters, names and decorative elements.
- Building pieces from templates.
- School projects and introductory 3D printing activities.
- Small joins, touch-ups or creative repairs on plastic objects, after checking the material and temperature first.
Tips for better lines
- Practise first on a protected surface or template.
- Keep the pen moving to avoid material build-up.
- Start at low speed and increase gradually once the flow is stable.
- For figures drawn in the air, make a base first and let each section cool before adding the next one.
- Do not pull the filament while the loading mechanism is operating.
It is for you if
- You want to create figures and decorations by hand.
- You are looking for a simple introduction to 3D modelling without using a computer.
- You will mainly work with 1.75 mm PLA filament.
- You want to adjust speed and control filament loading from the device itself.
It is not for you if
- You need dimensionally accurate parts or engineering tolerances.
- You want to replace an FDM/FFF 3D printer.
- You need to use technical, abrasive, flexible or filled materials without explicit compatibility confirmation.
- The user cannot safely handle a tool whose nozzle and plastic become hot.
Safety
The nozzle and molten plastic can cause burns. Do not touch the tip during operation or immediately afterwards. Keep the pen away from skin, clothing, cables, furniture and heat-sensitive materials.
Follow the packaging age indication of +14. This is not a toy for young children. Minors require suitable adult supervision, especially during loading, unloading and material changes.
Work in a ventilated area, on a stable and protected surface. Switch off and disconnect the pen when finished. Do not leave the heated device unattended.
