WINKLE PLA Matte 1.75 mm Filament

WINKLE PLA Matte filament manufactured in Spain. Its low-reflection finish diffuses light and helps make layer lines less noticeable, making it suitable for figures, models, decoration, prototypes and light functional parts.

The range includes Cobalt Blue, Cream White, Smoke Gray, Graphite Black and Raspberry Red, depending on the available options. The matte finish may look different according to the colour, part orientation, layer height and lighting.

Printing parameters

• Diameter: 1.75 mm.
• Nozzle temperature: 190-210 °C.
• Bed temperature: 40-60 °C.
• Recommended nozzle: 0.4 mm.
• Chamber: open.
• Reference speed: 60 mm/s.

Start around the middle of the range and tune temperature, flow, retraction, cooling and speed for your printer. Adhesion also depends on the surface, first layer and part geometry. The manufacturer's parameters are a starting point for a correctly calibrated machine.

Storage

Keep the spool protected from moisture and direct light, preferably in its sealed bag with desiccant. If the filament has absorbed moisture, suitable drying may help reduce popping, stringing and irregular extrusion.

You want easy-to-print PLA with a matte surface that reduces reflections and makes layer lines less visible on visual parts.

It is not for you if

It is not the best choice if you need a glossy finish, exact colour matching between batches or a specific thermal resistance for a demanding application.
