Description

SAKATA 3D PA-GF20-FR filament is a 3D printing material specifically developed for automotive and industrial applications.

It is composed of a copolyamide (Nylon) reinforced with 20% fiberglass and thermally stabilized, which allows excellent resistance and durability. In addition, it incorporates a fire retardant additive, which gives it a V-2 flammability index according to UL94, making it ideal for parts that require a high level of security.

Fiberglass reinforcement provides greater dimensional stability and significantly reduces shrinkage and warping in printed parts. In addition, it has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, with a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 180 degrees Celsius, which allows parts that will be exposed to high temperatures to be printed without deforming.

The filament is easy to print and is ideal for making functional prototypes, molds, tooling, and end-use parts.
