Available Options
GST3D Fluorescent PLA+ 1.75 mm is intended for parts that should attract attention: visual signage, accessories, decorations, cosplay, toys, prototypes and easy-to-find items. It is supplied on a 1 kg spool in Fluorescent Orange or Fluorescent Green.
Its colours are particularly vivid and react strongly under certain lighting, including ultraviolet light. This is not glow-in-the-dark filament: it is not designed to remain luminous after the light source is removed.
Key features
- Fluorescent PLA+ for FDM/FFF printing.
- Diameter: 1.75 mm.
- Net weight: 1 kg.
- Available colours: Fluorescent Orange and Fluorescent Green.
- High visibility and an intense decorative finish.
- No enclosed chamber required.
- Vacuum-packed spool.
Starting print settings
| Setting | Starting point |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 180-220°C; start around 200°C |
| Bed temperature | 40-60°C |
| Part cooling | Up to 100% after the first layers |
| Typical nozzle | 0.4 mm or larger |
These are initial ranges. Follow the spool label if it is more specific and tune temperature, flow and retraction on the actual printer. Tone and shine also change with temperature, line orientation and lighting.
Compatibility
Suitable for FDM/FFF printers that use 1.75 mm filament, including common HTA3D HPRO, Creality Ender 3, Prusa MK3/MK4, Bambu Lab A1/P1/X1 and Voron configurations. A suitable PLA/PLA+ profile is still required, and feeder or multi-material system limits must be checked.
Use tips
- Print a small sample before a large part to assess the colour under its final lighting.
- For real safety signage, do not replace approved reflective or photoluminescent materials where the application requires them.
- Keep the spool sealed with desiccant and dry it if crackling or bubbles appear.
- Increase speed only after checking available hotend flow.
Other GST3D finishes
For a conventional colour, see standard GST3D PLA+. For a different decorative finish, compare Silk PLA+, Bright PLA+ and Marble PLA+.
