POWGE GT2 smooth 20T-size idler pulley with bearing for 10 mm belt, 5 mm bore

POWGE smooth idler pulley with an integrated bearing and a nominal 20T-equivalent size, designed to guide or tension the back of a GT2 belt up to 10 mm wide on a nominal 5 mm axle or screw.

Its smooth cylindrical running surface supports the back of the belt without engaging its teeth. The side flanges help maintain belt position when the assembly is correctly aligned.

Installation

Secure the pulley through the bearing inner race and use spacers or washers that do not press against the rotating body. Once the screw is tightened, the pulley should rotate freely.

Check that the belt remains centred between the flanges. If it continuously runs against one flange, inspect bracket alignment, screw perpendicularity and the height of the other pulleys.

Compatibility

It is compatible with the back of 10 mm GT2 belts, including the 10 mm POWGE GT2 belt and 10 mm POWGE GT2 RF belt.

When the toothed side of the belt is the contact surface, use the POWGE GT2 20T toothed idler for 10 mm belts.

It should not be considered compatible with every machine using a 10 mm GT2 belt. The 5 mm axle, available flange clearance, overall pulley width and tensioner or bracket geometry must also match.

For high-performance machines, follow the part specified in the bill of materials. Some mechanisms use toothed idlers or bearing stacks in positions where a smooth pulley may appear visually suitable.
