SHF12 Aluminium Flanged Shaft Support for 12 mm Smooth Rod

SHF12 flanged support for securing the end of a 12 mm smooth rod to a plate perpendicular to the shaft. It is manufactured from aluminium and includes a split clamp and screw for locking the guide.

Applications

It can be used in large-format 3D printers, CNC machines, engravers and automation systems with 12 mm guides secured to side plates. The larger shaft section may improve rigidity but cannot compensate for misalignment or excessive unsupported length.

Compatibility

The SHF12 uses a 36 mm mounting pattern and a different shaft height from SHF8 and SHF10. It should not be installed as a direct replacement without checking or modifying the mounting plate.

Installation

Both guides must be parallel and coplanar before final tightening. The clamping screw should secure the shaft without unnecessarily deforming the support.
