SHF10 Aluminium Flanged Shaft Support for 10 mm Smooth Rod

SHF10 aluminium support for securing a 10 mm smooth rod to a plate perpendicular to the shaft. Its integrated split clamp locks the rod with a screw without requiring a machined shaft end.

Applications

It is intended for CNC structures, 3D printers, robots and linear mechanisms using side plates to support 10 mm guides. It may be used in custom machines but should not be considered a direct replacement without comparing the mounting pattern.

SHF10 versus SK10

The SHF10 secures the rod from a surface perpendicular to its axis. The SK10 is installed on a base parallel to the shaft. Selection depends on the frame plate orientation, not only the rod diameter.

Installation

Leave the mounting screws slightly loose during initial alignment. Once the guides are parallel and the carriage moves without binding, progressively tighten the supports and shaft clamps.
