SHF8 Aluminium Flanged Shaft Support for 8 mm Smooth Rod

SHF8 aluminium support for securing the end of an 8 mm smooth rod to a surface perpendicular to the shaft direction. Its flanged format allows the rod to be mounted against a side or front plate.

SHF8 and SK8 differences

The SHF8 mounts to a surface perpendicular to the shaft, while the SK8 uses a base parallel to the rod. Both accept a nominal 8 mm diameter, but their mounting orientation and pattern are different.

Applications

It can be used in 3D printers, CNC machines, laser engravers and automation systems that secure the guides to side plates. Compatibility with a specific machine depends on the 32 mm mounting pattern, shaft height and available space.

Installation

Check the alignment of both supports before tightening the shaft. Systems using two parallel guides must also maintain the correct spacing throughout the complete travel.
