SK12 Aluminium Shaft Support for 12 mm Smooth Rod

SK12 aluminium end support for securing 12 mm smooth rods to a surface parallel to the shaft. It uses a split clamp and clamping screw to lock the rod in position.

Applications

It can secure 12 mm guides in large-format 3D printers, CNC machines, automation equipment and custom linear mechanisms. A larger shaft may provide greater rigidity, but the result also depends on shaft length, support positions, load and alignment quality.

Conditional compatibility

The SK12 is not interchangeable with SK8 or SK10. In addition to the shaft diameter, the shaft centre height changes. The hole position and frame geometry must also be checked when replacing another support.

Installation

Secure the supports to the structure first, align both guides and only then tighten the shaft clamps. A forced installation may reduce the smoothness of the linear bearings.
