Description
Two-metre four-conductor cable for connecting a stepper motor to a controller board or driver. It has a 2.0 mm pitch PH-type connector on the motor end and a four-position XH-type connector on the electronics end.
Its length makes it suitable for large-format 3D printers, CNC machines, laser engravers and installations where the electronics are located away from the motor.

Compatibility
Compatible with motors and controller boards using these connectors and a suitable coil order. NEMA 17 does not define the electrical connector or its pinout, so compatibility must be checked for each motor and board.
For long installations, confirm that the cable length and conductor size are appropriate for the motor current, driver and motion conditions of the machine.
Installation and routing
- Make all connections with the machine completely switched off.
- Identify the coil pairs from the documentation or with a multimeter.
- Avoid coiling a large amount of excess cable beside the electronics.
- When installed in a cable chain, use a generous bending radius and avoid loading the connectors.
- Keep motor wiring reasonably separated from sensors and sensitive signals whenever possible.
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly before performing long or fast movements.
