Replacement assembly for the hotend fitted to the Anycubic Kobra 3 and Kobra 3 Combo. It is supplied assembled with a heater block, heater cartridge, thermistor, bimetal heatbreak, 0.4 mm Brass nozzle and silicone sock.

It is intended to connect to the original Kobra 3 printhead. It should not be treated as a universal hotend or adapted to another machine based on appearance alone.

Replacement

  1. Cool the nozzle below 40 °C, switch the printer off and unplug it.
  2. Remove the printhead front cover and carefully disconnect the black and white leads.
  3. Release the retaining spring and remove the old hotend.
  4. Insert the new assembly fully with the white lead facing forwards, then close the retaining spring.
  5. Reconnect both leads in their original positions, with the black lead at the bottom, and refit the cover.

Monitor the first heating test. If the temperature reading is unstable, a thermal error appears or heating is not controlled normally, switch the machine off and check the connections before continuing.

Conditional compatibility: installation is not guaranteed on the Kobra 3 V2, Kobra S1, Kobra 3 Max or other models that have not been checked with this specific replacement.
