Brass M6 Volcano-Type Nozzle for 1.75 mm Filament – 0.8 mm

Description

Brass Volcano-type nozzle with an M6 thread and 0.8 mm outlet for 1.75 mm filament. It deposits wider extrusion lines and a greater volume of material per layer than general-purpose nozzles.

It is particularly suitable for large parts, rapid prototypes, vase-mode models and functional components where printing speed and wall strength are more important than small details.

Compatibility

Compatible with hotends designed for M6 Volcano-type nozzles and 1.75 mm filament. Nozzle length, heatbreak sealing surface and the thermal capacity of the complete assembly must be checked.

It can be used with our M6 Volcano-type heater block and configurable Volcano-type hotend when the selected configuration is compatible.

Printing considerations

• Select 0.8 mm as the nozzle diameter in the slicer.
• Use a profile adapted for line width, layer height, flow and retraction.
• Do not assume that a larger nozzle allows unlimited increases in movement speed.
• Match printing speed to the volumetric flow the hotend can melt consistently.
• Review cooling, minimum layer time and first-layer settings.

Materials

Intended for non-abrasive materials. Brass provides good thermal transfer but can wear quickly with fibre-filled, metal-filled, mineral-filled or heavily pigmented abrasive filaments.
