Internal Straight Connector with 4 M5 Set Screws for 20 Series Profiles, 6 mm Slot

Internal metal connector designed to join two 20 series aluminium profiles longitudinally. It fits inside the slot across the joint between both profile sections and is locked with four M5 set screws.

It helps keep the profiles aligned and allows a structure to be extended without placing a joining plate over its external surface.

Compatibility

Compatible with HTA3D 20 series profiles such as the 2020 aluminium profile and the 2040 aluminium profile, using a suitable slot from the same profile family.

For profiles from other manufacturers, check the slot width, depth and internal geometry. The external profile dimensions do not guarantee that the connector can be inserted correctly.

Installation

Insert approximately half of the connector into the first profile slot and tighten it lightly. Slide the second profile over the exposed section, bring both profile ends together and check their alignment.

Progressively tighten all four set screws, distributing the fastening between both profiles. Avoid excessive tightening that could mark or deform the slot.

For an internal 90° joint, use the internal L connector for 20 series profiles.

This accessory helps align and join two sections, but the joint should not be assumed to have the same strength as a continuous profile. Final capacity depends on the loads, orientation, number of connectors and complete structure.
