M3 Hammer T-Nut for 20 Series Aluminium Profile, 6 mm Slot

M3 hammer T-nut for fastening components to 20 series aluminium profiles with a 6 mm slot. It can be inserted directly through the open slot, making it particularly useful when adding components to an already assembled frame.

Once inserted, the nut is turned approximately 90° so that its body sits across the inside of the profile. Its M3 thread can be used to secure brackets, sensors, electronics and other accessories designed for M3 fasteners.

Compatibility

Compatible with HTA3D 20 series aluminium profiles, including the 2020 profile and 2040 profile, as well as HTA3D accessories belonging to the same profile family.

For profiles from other manufacturers, check that the slot is 6 mm wide and that its internal geometry accepts a 20 series hammer nut.

Installation

• Insert the nut through the open slot.
• Turn it approximately 90° until it sits across the inside of the profile.
• Position the accessory and tighten the M3 screw.
• Check that the nut has rotated and seated correctly before final tightening.

Screw length must be selected according to the thickness of the accessory. An excessively long screw may bottom out before the joint is fully tightened.

Alternative mounting option

When the fastener can be inserted from the end of the profile, the M3 sliding T-nut for 20 series profiles can be used instead.
