Description

Nickel-plated carbon-steel M3 sliding nut for HTA3D European 20-series profiles with a nominal 6 mm slot. It is inserted through an open end and moved longitudinally to the required mounting position.

The M3 thread is useful for mounting sensors, small brackets, electronics and lightweight accessories on 2020 and 2040 structures.

Compatibility

Directly compatible with our 2020 and 2040 structural profiles and HTA3D 20-series accessories using M3 fasteners.

An M3 thread does not make the nut compatible with 15 or 30-series profiles. Always select the correct family for the slot.

Installation

• Insert the nut through an open end of the profile.
• Position it before installing end caps or connectors that block access.
• Use an M3 screw providing sufficient engagement without reaching the bottom of the slot.
• Start the thread by hand and tighten progressively.

To add a mounting point through the front of an already assembled structure, use a compatible 20-series hammer nut.
